After 6 weeks of working with Blue Chip Fit's Circuit Program, Core workouts, and stretching routines I now have a strong, flexible, injury-free foundation to pursue the activities I always wanted to do! I am 43 years old and haven't been this solid since I was in my early twenties.

When I first met Dan my fitness objectives were simple: get in shape and lose weight. I had no idea how to go about doing this because a year ago, I fractured my back in two places and had to give up running, which was pretty much my only form of exercise. Dan showed me that there is so much more to working out than just cardio. Now after several months of working out with Dan, I can do everything that I used to and so much more. Working out with Dan is always one of my favorite parts of the day. He always keeps me motivated by making our workout sessions fun, interesting and unique. Dan somehow always knows how much I can handle and pushes me to my limits. When I started I could barely do a push up. Now I can easily do them. Plus, Dan sometimes has me do them "Rocky Balboa" style. Even though they're difficult, there's a nice satisfaction in doing them. The results of my workouts with Dan were far beyond my expectations. Without even realizing it, I had dropped two clothing sizes. I've also received some very positive feedback from others - and have surprised many with my new-found strength. In fact, while working out, we were asked by another trainer and client what sport I am training for. They were so impressed by my weight training that they assumed that I must be a pro-athlete of some form. Also, it was always a lot of fun to use the weight lifting machines and then watch men use them after me and have to bump the weight way down. I never would have known that I was capable of any of this if it weren't for Dan. Dan helped me to realize my abilities and potential. I strongly recommend that everyone serious about getting in shape - no matter what the goals or starting point - workout with Dan. And just know that when he gets that twinkle in his eyes and that grin, you're in for a new and interesting exercise.

I am 65 years old and recently joined a new "state of the art" health club. A supposed perk of joining the club included two free personal training sessions. I was excited by this prospect until I met the club trainer. I realized that the "free" sessions consisted of the briefest description of the machines in the club. When I declined the offer to purchase a package of training sessions, he didn't want to waste any more time with me. So, I was left with no real understanding of the clubs machines. Finally, I asked Dan to come to my club and show me how to work with the machines. It took Dan's patience to show me the different options that the Club's machines offered. Dan showed me several exercises at the club and now I feel more confident about going there on my own. All along, the main reason that I wanted to work with a personal trainer was to learn how to train myself so that I could work independently. However, I eventually hired Dan to work with me at my home and that has complimented how I am able to exercise on my own (at the club and elsewhere). My experience has been collaborative but directed. I run a business that requires a great deal of physical activity on my part. Though I am already relatively fit, I decided to work with Dan because he was willing to listen to what I needed and help me in ways that no other trainer has done before. I know that I will have to continue to work at being fit into my seventies and eighties. Importantly, I know that I can count on Dan and Blue Chip Fit to continue my fitness education as needed.
